The Festus R-VI Board of Education approved the District calendar for the 2024-25 school year at its meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Highlights of the calendar include:
- Classes begin on Monday, August 19
- No School for Labor Day on September 2
- No School for professional development on October 7
- No School on Monday, November 4
- No School for professional development on Tuesday, November 5
- Thanksgiving break November 27-29
- Winter Break December 23-January 2, 2025
- 2nd semester begins January 6, 2025
- No School for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on January 20, 2025
- No School for professional development on February 14, 2025
- No School for President's Day on February 17, 2025
- Spring Break March 13-17, 2025
- No School April 18 & 20, 2025
- Last Day of School May 19, 2025
